And the Show Went On

We had a successful beginning with Empty Closet Women's Theater on September 28, 2013 with Herstories: Voice of Change. Women came from as far away as Orlando for our debut. Cast and crew alike can all be proud of what they accomplished. Palm Beach County now has a forum for women centered theater. When no one leaves at intermission and everyone stays for discussion, and one of the first questions from the audience is "What's Next?" you know you've done something right. Here are some other comments from the community.

HOME RUN! The Harriet Tubman Visits a Therapist play was tremendously well acted and the audience loved it. Having this many types of spoken word, poetry, music, performance art, and theater pieces on the stage was brilliant. Room looked lovely. Crowd was SRO - congrats to everyone who put this evening together, and thank you to the audience. ALSO... thanks to Penny's at the Duke for offering discounted drinks at the after party. What a wonderful women's community we live in! Toni Armstrong Jr.

Heartwarming, awe-inspiring, unique, passion-filled performances by all. Can't wait for the next one! Nancy Rose

We were so deeply moved and inspired by the performances and the incredible presentation reflecting such a welcoming supportive community effort. We noticed all the beautiful personal touches from the carefully placed flowers and candles on each table to the emotional artistic expressions on stage. BRAVO to each and everyone who helped make this possible!!! Disney Girl
